Policy design for the Anthropocene
Introduction
The term ‘Anthropocene’ is used to characterise the present geological epoch. It is commonly used to identify the current period during which human activity dominates the development of global ecosystems.

In this academic and thought-provoking article, the authors examine planetary boundaries, tipping points and policies. Amongst others, they consider climate change, ocean acidification, land system change and freshwater use.
