Introduction
The Noor solar farm in Morocco aims to replace fossil fuels as the major form of electricity production in a country where sunlight is in abundance. It is the first of four sites spread across the country that are to be developed.
Solar energy is an example of renewable energy. It forms part of the core curriculum at GCSE. The Noor solar farm provides students with an excellent case study.
