Primary Newsbites: July 2023
Introduction
Welcome to the final Primary Newsbites of this academic year. Here, you will find information about new primary resources. This includes useful websites, ‘freebies’, competitions, book recommendations (we are strong advocates of 'reading across the curriculum' and enhancing subject-specific vocabulary), local network meetings, CPD events and suggestions for fieldwork/'taking learning beyond the classroom'.
Our Primary Newsbites newsletters also host contributions from classroom teachers and Geography Subject Leaders, providing a great opportunity to share best practice. Hopefully, you will then feel more inspired and can, subsequently, be confident that high-quality geography is happening within your school.
We would be delighted to receive information, suggestions and contributions from yourselves. Click 'Contributions' below or contact us directly at gswinfo@geographysouthwest.co.uk
