39 ways to save the planet and other RGS resources for A level and GCSE

The Royal Geographical Society (RGS) website has a variety of topical resources for GCSE and A level students. 39 Ways to Save the Planet includes links to BBC Sounds episodes, articles, weblinks, additional resources and comments by experts.  Royal Geographical Society - Geography resources for teachers (rgs.org)  Other recent topics include Rewilding, Seagrass, Solar Power, Peatlands and Super Rice.

Free resources on the RGS website also include talks and podcasts on subjects such as The impact of the Summer 2021 Canadian Heatwave, Tourist Destinations in Thailand, the February 2021 Eruption of Etna and Unravelling the Mediterranean Migration Crisis.  Resources accompanying some topics include high quality images and maps and links to related websites.

Members of the RGS including school members can access a wider range of resources including recordings of selected lectures in the Talks on Demand menu. Subjects covered include  the 2021 Geldingadalir volcanic eruption, Carbon Capture and the High Street reimagined.
