Wicked Weather Watch online CPD on climate change

Would you like to increase pupils’ awareness of rising temperatures and shrinking ice within the Arctic. Do you want your pupils to know about the impacts that climate change may have on their local area, the UK and globally?

Wicked Weather Watch is running an online CPD workshop on Climate Change in the Classroom on Thursday 27 May from 1600-1730. This training is for Primary School Key Stage Coordinators, Geography/Humanities Subject Leaders and Key Stage 1 and 2 class teachers and will also be of interest to NQTs and trainee teachers.

This CPD workshop aims to give teachers the confidence and tools to explore climate change with students, and to take actions as a school. It will highlight how and where climate change and sustainability fit into different subjects and topics, and look at examples of contemporary resources and ways of sharing best practice.
