Geographical Association Conference 2021 resources

The Geographical Association Conference 2021 was held online in April. Many of the presentations from the programme and supporting materials can now be viewed and downloaded on the GA website.

The conference included the public lecture 20 Years, 95 miles, 185 Million Years: A Celebration of the Jurassic Coast  delivered by Dr Anjana Khatwa. Her lecture included insights into the geology and scenery of this amazing section of coast supported with spectacular photographic images.

Many sessions supported the conference theme of Compassionate Geographies alongside a wide variety of workshops and presentations featuring the development of the geography curriculum and classroom strategies from Early Years to Post 16. Resources online include topics of interest to all teachers from climate change and sustainable development to volcanoes and plate tectonics.
