The Red Coast, East Devon
The Red Coast
This walk of around 12.5 miles along the South West Coast Path covers part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site from Exmouth to Sidmouth. It is informally known as the ‘Red Coast’ due to the colour of the Triassic cliffs, and along the way you get chance to explore the geoneedle at Orcombe Point, the Budleigh Salterton Pebble Beds, steep cliffs, spits, and the stacks of Ladram Bay.
